The App-V 4.5 client may BSOD your Citrix servers!

We are currently making preparations for moving our SoftGrid environment to version 4.5. One of the reasons I want this move to happen sooner than later, is the fact that our old SoftGrid client sometimes makes our Terminal Servers BSOD. Browsing through my favorite places across the Internet, I found a thread that made the hairs in my neck stand up…

citrixms-warsmall It looks like there is a “incompatibility” issue with running the App-V 4.5 client on a Citrix Server. Microsoft and Citrix both know about it but haven’t shared the circumstances on how or when this happens.  I just can’t believe that all the Strategic,MVP,Gold, Platinum and Partner of the year awards that these companies share, again hasn’t resulted in “glitch-free” interoperation of their software products!
I’ll be watching this thread very closely..who’s with me?
