Powerfuse 2008 going live in 3-2-1..
D-Day today here at the office..Powerfuse 2008 is live. Let us see how many users we have at 07:50
07:50 145 users logged in..good start!
08:44 322 users logged in.
09:00 DBA guys find some errors in the logfiles of the Powerfuse DB. Seems that the DB is pretty “process hungry” going way and beyond 100+ processes. I can’t start the Powerfuse Console because of this issue. Users are not experiencing any problems.
09:15 DBA guys tune processes parameter to 300. (so a tip to anyone reading this: Check amount of processes that are allowed to be established)
09:20 I can start Powerfuse Console without issue now. DBA guys are monitoring the DB.
09:50 450 users logged in!
11:45 RES Support called, went over some of the issues we encountered during this first morning.
12:00 Call from colleague, seems that Powerfuse has changed the order for the http instant file association. Which is making users open the “wrong” internet explorer when they click a link in a mail for example. Fixed < 10 seconds.
16:00 First day almost finished. Powerfuse seems to do it’s thing as promised so I’m one happy camper!
