Upgrade Linux VM’s from GSX to VMWare Server
No guts no glory..!
So just finished upgrading the virtual “hardware” of my Linux VM’s.
How did I perform the upgrade?…:
Have a backup..! (you’ll learn later why…!)
- Install VMWare Tools in the VM as described in my other post:
Installing VMware Tools in debian
- Shutdown your VM.
- Upgrade your virtual hardware
- Start your VM
